Does RoV allow magic? Yes. Does this mean we allow indestructible, uberpowerful magical beings? No. With strength comes weakness. This is true in terms of magics- all magics. If your character is a Seer, it is not necessarily true that they will see the perfect future. A mind reader? Some can block that! What does this mean? We will not allow any all-seeing, all-powerful being. All magic is taxing, in some form or another, and this also needs to be remembered.

Magic in Validon is different. You could never see a single magic user destroy an entire city by themselves and live to tell the tale. The Wards regulate all magic, and it's another reason why they should never lose power. Magic didn't really exist in Validon until the Wards. Powerful magic is possible in Validon, though, don't get me wrong, but the most powerful magic will take time to pull off.
